The seeds of faith newsletter is issued each month by the  diocesan resource worker Bairbre Cahill.

The initiative was set up to encourage the ongoing faith development  of the families in our diocese.

• We are delighted to present our Discover Primary Science work for 2011. Please go to gallery to look at some of the excellent science and green schools work being done by your children and their teachers.
  • The school is currently collecting TESCO tokens.
  • Drivers, please be extra aware of children and families from the local area who walk to school. Do not park on the pavement. This restricts safe access for those walking.

We are delighted to finally have our website up and running. We hope you enjoy the site and visit it often. The intention is that this website will keep you up to date with our latest news, upcoming events and you can familiarise yourself with our aims, policies, organisation and committees.

At Scoil Naomh Fiachra, Illistrin we aim to provide a happy, friendly and caring environment, where children feel secure and valued. Children are encouraged to develop self-discipline and mutual respect for each other and for all adults in an atmosphere that promotes learning and excellence, thus enabling the child to reach his/her true potential.

Parents and visitors are welcomed into the school. Their involvement and contribution are sought consistently in a partnership that enhances the children's education, welfare and social awareness.
